Avidia Bank is a $1.5 billion mutual community bank with deep roots in Central Massachusetts. It was formed in 2007 by the merger of Hudson Savings Bank and Westborough Bank, both of which were established in 1869. Avidia is headquartered in Hudson.
New Bank Branch Building
RP Masiello was selected as the design/build general contractor for Avidia Bank’s newest branch in Hudson. Located on a busy commercial corridor, the new branch stands out as a modern structure featuring steel and glass.
The single-story building has one drive-up teller window and one drive-up ATM. Rather than a traditional teller-line behind glass, the interior has a modern branch design, with open customer services/teller locations in the main business area. Back-room facilities include an employee lounge and rest rooms. Site work included an 11-spot paved parking lot.
