A signature commercial building on a high-profile site
Extending a relationship that began in 1989, RP Masiello was engaged to build a Class A three-story office building on a high-profile parcel in Sturbridge, MA. Designed for medical and corporate tenants, the building marks the latest chapter in RPM's decades of work for Arland Tool & Manufacturing.
Built for heavy manufacturing
Over several decades, RP Masiello has delivered five new manufacturing facilities for Arland, plus countless renovations across its operations. The new builds are large high-bay structures carrying multiple 10 to 20 ton bridge cranes, and several required solving environmental challenges and stabilizing soils to support heavy construction. RPM also renovated and adapted a Civil War era production building into corporate offices with employee amenities, including a cafeteria and locker rooms. Established in 1948 as a tool & die shop, Arland is now a state-of-the-art contract manufacturer serving international clients in the power generation, compressor, oil/gas, and military sectors.
