A New Home for Made-in-America Night Vision and Defense Systems

RP Masiello is serving as construction manager on a new design-build manufacturing facility in Sturbridge, Massachusetts for Exosens, a French-based global leader in night-vision and photonics technology and a longtime supplier to NATO defense forces. The new plant will produce "Made in America" image intensifier tubes — the critical component that powers night-vision goggles — supporting Exosens' broader push to expand U.S. production capacity for defense and commercial customers alike.

The new site will anchor Exosens' U.S. defense headquarters in Central Massachusetts. Upon completion of construction, manufacturing operations will begin in 2027, supporting a $352 million U.S. Army contract through 2033 and rising global demand for night-vision and other defense systems.

Continuation of Longtime Partnership

This project is a joint venture with Exosens and longtime commercial development partner, Chacharone Properties. The project represents another example of the kind of advanced, adaptive manufacturing space that's fueling America's industrial resurgence.
