David Clark Company Expanding Its Legacy with New Headquarters in Worcester
After a rigorous qualification process, RP Masiello was selected as construction manager to transform a former semiconductor fabrication plant into a 145,000 sq.ft. multi-use complex for R&D, engineering, manufacturing and corporate headquarters for the David Clark Company.
To begin, RP Masiello’s self-performing team took the building back to its structural elements to create a new floor plan with all new mechanical systems.
The build-out included engineering labs, manufacturing, assembly, and testing suites served by sophisticated utilities and environmental control systems that support 300 specialized machines the company uses in production and testing. The facility also includes corporate offices, administrative spaces, on-site cafeteria and a warehouse/logistics center.
David Clark Company is the legendary aerospace protective gear innovator that has designed and produced space suits for every NASA program, including the 2026 Artemis II mission to the moon. It is also the industry leader for aviation headset products.
