Rebuilding and Expanding the School

To accommodate growth and provide the best possible environment for its students, the Groton Community School embarked upon a major expansion and renovation program. RP Masiello was selected as the general contractor for this aggressive project. The work touched the entire complex, including construction of two new wings to the main building and completely refurbishing the entire facility allowing for larger classrooms, a new library, enhanced circulation areas, improved staff spaces, and a community room. Most of the of the building’s existing structural trusses were rebuilt by RP Masiello’s in-house self-performing crew.
