New life for an iconic property.

RP Masiello served as construction manager for the complete renovation and revitalization of a historic, iconic property in downtown Worcester, MA. In collaboration with our client, RPM brought new life to the property while preserving its historic character.

Self-performed craftsmanship

RPM engaged its in-house team to self-perform significant structural upgrades, incorporating new concrete, wood, and steel systems while carefully maintaining the building's historical integrity. The team installed a new three-story monument staircase that serves as the architectural focal point of the space, along with energy-efficient window systems that improve sustainability in a period-correct aesthetic. Behind the preserved ornamental façade, RPM delivered all-new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, coordinating closely with city officials throughout construction in the busy downtown setting.

Award Winning Project

RPM was awarded the 2025 Silver Hammer Award from the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce for its work on the project. The award recognizes the transformation of the property and the meticulous care taken to preserve its historical integrity.
