New Crematorium
The Trustees of Rural Cemetery asked RP Masiello to design and build a new crematorium, with office space for staff and comforting spaces for families. This was a challenging project that had to incorporate the latest technologies in a design that harmonized with the historic nature of the property. Great care was taken to protect the landscape and the graves near the construction site.
Custom Craftsmanship by Self-Performing Teams
For the exterior of the building our masons on our self-performing crews reclaimed stone from a period barn in Central Massachusetts and hand cut each piece for the new building. Our master carpenters hand crafted custom millwork to adorn the family spaces.
