Worcester developer James Chacharone embarked upon a plan to construct a striking multi-function building at the corner of Grove and West Boylston Streets. His vision, Chadwick Court, became Worcester’s first “Class A” office building to be created in over ten years. The building was designed to accommodate professional, medical, retail, and institutional uses.
New Corporate & Medical Facility
RP Masiello partnered with Ramon Hovsepian and Associates to design and build this multi-functional facility. The project was on a fast-track schedule to accommodate Commonwealth Bank’s immediate occupancy, while portions of the structure and MEP systems were completed for future tenants.
In order to safely construct this building at a busy urban intersection, RP Masiello installed a sheet pile support system to protect the integrity of the street and its infrastructure. Additional site considerations included rerouting of city sewers, drains, and 100-year-old water services.
Since 1984, RP Masiello has constructed more than 15 buildings for Chacharone Properties and have renovated scores of additional buildings.
