It’s no understatement to say Marmon Utility is a powerhouse. The company, which is part of the Berkshire Hathaway group, is a leader in the design, engineering, installation, manufacturing, and servicing of electrical power cable and related systems. Marmon Utility helps strengthen and support the electric power infrastructure in all 50 United States and on all seven continents of the world.
New Manufacturing Buildings
RP Masiello will be constructing three new manufacturing buildings at the Marmon Milford complex. The first will be a 62,000 sq. ft. high-clearance single story building connected to an existing facility. This first building also entails the demolition of three houses and a section of the existing manufacturing plant along with added parking. The building will also house an interior loading dock with cranes to provide easy logistics for Marmon’s heavy reels of cable. RPM will have to reinforce sections of the existing manufacturing facility to accommodate future snow and wind loads created by the construction of the new facility. Construction will commence in late 2024.
